After months of deliberation the United States Olympic Committee has chosen Salt Lake City to bid for a future Olympic Winter Games. The International Olympic Committee won’t award the 2030 bid until the summer of 2023. The United States will host the 2028 Olympic Summer Games in Los Angeles, which had previously held the 1984 Games. FIS Nordic Combined and Ski Jumping Events This month, Park City will host the International Ski Federation (FIS) Continental Cup for Nordic Combined and FIS Cup for Ski Jumping for women and men. Together with events a week earlier in Steamboat Springs, CO, these represent the first women's Continental Cup Nordic Combined events to be held in North America.
